For learning and fun

Every game on notebookfun uses real physics, chemistry or biology, with numbers taken from published sources listed under each game. To make things playable we simplify: time is sped up, sizes are exaggerated and some effects are left out. Treat the games as a friendly introduction, not as a reference for engineering, medical, legal or safety decisions.

Trying it for real

Many games are inspired by experiments you can do at home or at school. If you try one, do it with care and, for children, with an adult: never drop things from heights where people are below, take care around hot pans and stoves, and keep small parts away from young children. Please never catch and keep wild fireflies or other animals; watch them and let them be.

We link to the sources we used and to other websites we think are useful. We do not control those sites and are not responsible for their content.

Advertising and sponsorship

The site currently has no ads or sponsors. If we ever publish sponsored content or use affiliate links, it will be clearly labelled.
